Measured Building Surveys UK & 3D Laser Scanning
Survey X captures accurate existing-building information for refurbishment, design, planning and asset management. We combine terrestrial laser scanning, wearable mobile mapping and survey control to produce dependable 2D and 3D deliverables tailored to each project. For measured building survey enquiries, call 01924 570136 or email info@surveyxuk.co.uk.
Wearable Scanning for Complex Internal Spaces
- Mobile mapping allows our surveyors to capture connected rooms, corridors, stairwells and restricted internal areas efficiently.

Integrated Surveying Technology
Our surveyors select the right capture method for each part of the building. Tripod-based scanning records high-detail areas, wearable mobile mapping covers connected internal spaces efficiently, and survey control ties the information into a consistent coordinate framework.
Site Survey Phase
Before attending, we agree the survey extent, required outputs and appropriate level of detail. On site, we establish survey control and use static or wearable scanning as appropriate, checking coverage as work progresses to reduce gaps and unnecessary return visits.

Data Processing & QA
Captured data is registered, checked against control and reviewed for coverage before production begins. Our CAD and BIM team then prepares the agreed plans, elevations, sections, point clouds or models, followed by an independent quality check before issue.
Measured Building Surveys UK for Accurate Design, Planning and Asset Management
Survey X delivers measured building surveys for commercial, residential and public-sector properties throughout the UK. We provide architects, engineers, developers and asset managers with a reliable record of the existing building to support refurbishment, extension, redevelopment, space planning and facilities management.
