What a Drain Mapping Survey Includes

Survey Methodology
We employ a range of non-destructive techniques to accurately map underground drainage networks. This includes high-resolution CCTV crawler cameras and sonde tracing, where transmitters are pushed through pipes and detected at ground level to confirm precise alignments. These methods allow us to produce highly accurate survey data without the need for excavation.

Survey Limitations and Access Requirements
It is important to note that survey results are dependent on access and site conditions. Elements that are inaccessible, submerged under high water levels, or composed of untraceable materials may limit the results of the survey. The survey does not promise a complete detection of all underground assets where environmental or structural conditions prevent equipment passage or signal transmission. Safe access to all chambers and outfalls must be provided to ensure the most comprehensive results possible.
